Smart Metro Demonstration Station: Guangzhou Metro Publishes Suiteng OS Together with Tencent

Recently, the Smart Metro Demonstration Station officially launched in Guangzhou Metro Line 3, Guangzhou Tower Station of APM Line, and Tianhe Smart City Station of Line 21. Meanwhile, Guangzhou Metro and Tencent have jointly launched the first rail transit intelligent brain in China, Suiteng OS.

Suiteng OS is an operating system based on urban rail transit design, which is a one-stop solution to support digital rail transit, unmanned operation management, intelligent operation and maintenance control, and scenario application services.

 

Smart Metro is becoming the "super brain" of intelligent operation of rail transit.

 

Cai Changjun, deputy general manager of Guangzhou Metro Group, said that the Guangzhou Smart Metro Demonstration Project takes one platform + four applications (comprehensive information release, intelligent guidance for passenger flow, smart security, smart station) as its construction mode, and promotes the smart subway demonstration station to promote large-scale intelligent and information technology and equipment accumulation experience for the national metro  system.

 

Before that, Guangzhou Metro has issued a "Smart Metro Functional Grade" system. The system is divided into four levels, the first is the basic level, and the fourth is the highest level. The content includes six aspects: passenger service, traffic organization, dispatching command, station management, operation and maintenance, safety guarantee and emergency disposal.

 

The smart Metro demonstration station on display is version 1.0 of the smart Metro station. The platform infrastructure has been built to meet the application standard of urban rail transit line level.

 

Suiteng OS realizes intelligent perception, data interaction, intelligent analysis and linkage operation of all kinds of equipment systems in the station. It can accomplish a series of intelligent functions such as passenger anomaly monitoring and linkage alarm, intelligent security, intelligent passenger flow guidance, intelligent station management and comprehensive information release.

 

Here are some introduction about intelligent functions of Smart Metro.

Paperless ticketing: Based on face recognition technology, realizing the new experience of paperless tickets face recognition. Passengers only need to register personal information in real name on Guangzhou Metro Applet or Guangzhou Metro APP, and bind payment method to realize fast access in the "face swiping" device of Guangzhou Tower Station of APM Line. At present, the face recognition equipment of Guangzhou Tower Station and Tianhe Smart City Station of Line 3 can only be used in this station, and it will be put on line formally when the test is mature.

Intelligent Customer Service: It has the function of intelligent customer service system. Passengers can ask questions to the customer service robot to understand the operation information of Guangzhou Metro in all aspects. At the same time, the customer service system also supports out-of-station navigation and provides passengers with various kinds of comprehensive travel suggestions. The backstage of the customer service system has the function of manual customer service, providing "one-to-one" consultation and interaction, and according to the needs of passengers, answering questions, remotely guiding passenger operation, helping passengers quickly grasp and complete various station services.

 

Intelligent Security Inspection: Intelligent Security Inspection is realized by the integration of many station security equipment and facilities, such as real-name registration APP, security ticketing machine, terahertz security inspection system, centralized mapping platform, etc., through the Internet, large data platform, face recognition, image recognition and other technologies.

 

Guangzhou Metro Applet and Guangzhou Metro APP: Integrate six professional functions of face recognition, ticketing, security, customer service, indoor positioning and Internet of Things to provide more intelligent and convenient travel services.

 

Intelligent lighting: Station lighting can adjust the lighting scene according to different time and space, and automatically adjust the lighting according to the use function in the entrance, hall corridor, platform seat and self-service area, so as to make the lighting more humanized.

Intelligent Side Gate: Realize the function of facial authentication for special passengers, enhance the free channel self-service experience, and install help buttons and voice intercom devices to contact station attendants.

 

Foreign Object Detection in Platform Door: The top-mounted, receiving and emission integrated lidar sensor is used to monitor the gap between the train door and the platform door, reduce the probability and risk of entrainment incidents, and ensure the safety of passengers on and off the train.

 

It is reported that the Smart Metro Demonstration Station has also made improvment in terms of operation management and passenger flow guidance.

 

5G Technology Application: The demonstration station combines the latest mobile communication technology with industry, realizes 5G + UHD video, 5G + smart side door, 5G + smart security and other applications, creates a series of 5G schemes.

 

Mobile Station Management: Based on Suiteng OS, the functions of panoramic management and control of station equipment, multi-terminal interaction, network data assistant operation management, one-key style station and patrol station are realized.

 

Intelligent Video Surveillance: By using full HD digital video system and intelligent video analysis technology, the station passenger flow status, special personnel behavior monitoring, external personnel intrusion monitoring, abnormal behavior monitoring and alarm in key areas are realized, and the 24-hour intelligent patrol station and AR panoramic monitoring function of the station are realized.

 

Escalator Intelligent Operation and Maintenance System: It can realize real-time monitoring of escalator operation status, real-time alarm of failure, and provide health diagnosis and maintenance suggestions.
